Due to desires from early childhood to create, LaTanya Denine decided to attend Sacramento State University in pursuit of her a BA in Art Studio. She discovered her love of fashion and the pursuit of a creative outlet in fashion quickly became her favorite pastime.

In the Fall of 2006 La Tanya worked as a Fashion Show Producer for the fashion show Couturshion “Couture, Fashion, Fusion” for the teen girls of INNERvention Community Outreach Program, of Progressive Women of Excellence. On this project, she worked as the fashion show choreographer, fashion sketch artist, and stage director. Her fashion sketches were published in the Sacramento Bee November 1, 2006.

In 2007, she joined the Runway En Vogue team to help produce Fashion shows such as “Boutique City” and “Designer’s workshop”. Another outlet for enhancing her creative skills, she showed the first garment at the opening of the fashion show.

Her love for fashion kept growing and due to her love of consulting people about their fashion image, she was convinced by friends and family to open Studio Nine Image Consulting, in 2008. It was through her business that she would land the job as Fashion Director for the stage play Emerge that premiered at the UC DAVIS Mondavi Center.

In the fall of 2009, she joined the Student Fashion Association at CSUS. It was through this club she would develop skills as a designer. She created her first collection for the “Lights, Camera, Fashion” Fall Fashion Show. Her second collection “A Burst of Neuf” was a swimwear collection for the “Love, Fashion, Runway” fashion show in the Spring 2010. For this collection, she was featured in the CSUS school paper, The State Hornet. In the Fall of 2010, her purple fusion collection for the “Viva la Fashion” Fall fashion show created a buzz that led to Eduardo Bucio blogging about the show.

La Tanya has also participated in many fashion shows outside of school, selling garments right off the runway.

In 2012 LaTanya was contacted by Project Runway they showed much interest in her creativity and designs.

As a recent Graduate of Sacramento State University with a BA in Art Studio.

She chose to come to the Atlanta Georgia Metro Area to explore and create opportunities.
