I'm a certified esthetician and master Make-Up artist. My cosmetology and art education, along with my easy-going personality provides my clients with a dependable, detail-oriented, and creative experience.
After completing Cosmetology school in the Bay Area, California, I traveled to Europe to follow my passion, gain knowledge and experience. I continued internship studies in the Czech Republic, Spain and Greece. In Europe, I worked at internationally acclaimed Skin Care Salons. I also volunteered my time, as a make-up artist, helping models and photographers at photo shoots, fashion shows and special events.
After gaining my credits, I opened a European Skincare Salon and Make-Up studio in the upscale area of Menlo Park, CA. In business since 1996, Beauty By Laura founded by Laura Citores has become an award winning Skincare Salon & Make-Up Studio.
I take pride in working with models and photographers on creative projects. But my passion extends beyond the glamour of Hollywood, the sandy beaches of Greece and the high fashion of Paris. I'm an expert at bringing out every woman's beauty because I truly believe in the women of today's world.
Though I love film, print, glamour, editorial, runway, fashion and pageants...I adore bridal. "Who doesn't love a good wedding! Especially when a bride is walking down the aisle with my work on her beautiful smiling face."
I'm is also very well known for my award winning 40's, 50's, vintage, retro burlesque & pinup Make-Up art.
