With her extensive background and training as a model, Cherie has great stage presence and exudes self-confidence in front of the camera. She is no stranger to the limelight and has lit up the stage at 2 major events – she clinched subsidiary award, Miss Body Beautiful and was placed 2nd runner-up in the prestigious Miss Singapore International 2011 and 1st runner-up position in a sultry Miss Kooshi Lingerie pageant organized by Singapore Management University. She is well-versed in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and Italian. Cherie portrays herself to be a charming, warm, gracious and creative individual.

Cherie was talent spotted by a local film director during an audition for a feature film and has appeared in various drama and variety programmes. Being a feisty and gung-ho girl, she excels in the domains of martial arts and dance. A strong grounding in martial arts has moulded Cherie into a tenacious girl, a go-getter, and imbued her with a never-say-die attitude. Also, Cherie recently took home the Championship title for Wonder Chef 我要当食神 and Wonder Chef 我要当食神 PK 版.

Cherie is also a cultured dancer, and is experienced in various styles such as Pole, Exotic, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Modern and Belly Dance. She has competed in and won numerous competitions such as the prestigious Singapore Youth Festival and the media showcase Dance Works Anti-Drug Competition. She has also performed with Singapore Dance Theatre in front of capacity crowds at the Victoria Concert Hall and Kallang Theatre.
