i work in the salon 5 days a week.
i aspire to be doing photo shoots/set work on a weekly basis and am up for really any kind of shoot, from styling hair on a more classic, polished basis, to creating cool shapes, to very tight avant up-do styles.
in my salon i cut hair. i style hair. i create art on people.

on set i take direction and add my personal touch to what the photographer/designer is looking for.

on set experience-
many photo shoots, i participate in the NWHH Fashion Show on a yearly basis doing the pre-show hair as well as backstage transitioning the hair between looks. did hair for a Dyme Def music video. have been assistant on shoots/fashion show(2007) for Gene Juarez Artistic team when I was an assistant with their company. (I no longer have any association with GJ.)

modeling-
i used to model. i am not neccessarily looking to model anymore, but occasionally will sit for a shoot.
i get my photo taken often as part of the promotional modeling i do as a dancer at music clubs.
i style the dancers for the events i participate in (hair, some makeup).
i am also the wardrobe stylist.

i have a very savvy/classy rock-meets-street personal style.
i am very professional, always punctual, and firm but flexible.
i want to build network contacts.
i want to be a set stylist and transition into working more on out of area work in NYC and LA.

i am fearless. i will try anything. if i do not think i can accomplish something successfully, i will say so.
