Hair & Makeup Stylist / Model

Nikki Collins is originally from San Jose, California, but currently resides in San Francisco, California. At the young age of fifteen, Nikki knew her passion was hair already so she attended the Shasta School of Cosmetology in Redding, California. She has 10 years for hair & makeup styling experience. Currently, she works at two salons the Barber Lounge in San Francisco, and Expressions Salon and Spa in Vacaville, California.

The Barber Lounge in San Francisco, California is a barber shop, full salon and spa, and cater to both men and women, which is her full time position. Once a week, as an independent contractor, she caters to her clients from the East Bay at Expressions Salon and Spa in Vacaville, California.

Both of her current salons provide excellent training. She has had training from Aveda, Danvies, Cosmedix, Joico, Toni and Guy, MAC, Sebastion, Schwarzkopf, Goldwell, Matrix, Redken, and Brazilian Blowout, are just a couple of the manufactures training she has taken. She was also trained by Matrix and Schwarzkopf professionals as an educator and taught classes in California.

Not only does Nikki work at two salons, but she freelances as well. She freelances for weddings, fashion designers, photo shoots, fashion shows, music videos, and private parties providing both hair and makeup. Nikki is very versatile with her skills.

Nikki has been published in a couple of books, one being released from France in 2011. She has had work published by fashion designers as well, including gr.dano spring 2011 line.

Magazines that have published her work include: Rolling Stones, Vogue, Vacaville magazine, the New York Times, and T-Mobile ads , as well as many online blogs.
