Figure painting is the main focus for my art. Whether it's oil paints or bronze, my passion is for trying to capture the essence of the human figure. in the last couple of years I have been exploring a newer way of doing portrait paintings that challenge the traditional portraiture formats and compositions. My more recent series have been eye portraits mostly in oil. The idea, to explore how much information the viewer needs in order to still grasp the character of the model.
