I don't want to sound like a prick so I will try to take it easy in this statement. However I only use this occasionally and do not post my professional work here so I don't care.

Models: I don't know if it's just this website or what, but unless someone comes to you asking to use you in some sort of published work or their own personal project, why would you be getting paid? In the real world, models pay to get their portfolios built up so they can push them to agencies and try to get work. On this website, girls that want to be models also want to get paid for some reason.

**Don't ask me to book you then tell me your rates. If you contact me, you will be the one paying if you would like me to do photos for you.**


Photographers: If you contact models to do personal work then you should be paying the models fair compensation for their time, but if a model contacts you WHY would you pay them to take photos they obviously are wanting done? That's like a restaurant having a patron order food, buying, preparing, and giving the patron the food, and then paying them to eat it. You may as well just give them your camera because you won't be successful.

I know I sound like a complete a**, but I'm tired of getting people wanting me to do work for them here and also want paid. It's definitely not happening when I'm already a paid commercial photographer and have personal clients. Chances are if you are on here as a model, you are looking to have pictures taken to get your name out and build your portfolio, that makes you the one that needs a service rendered. Otherwise you would be with an agency that's booking you paid advertising/commercial gigs.
