Much of my published work has revolved around sports, but I've always found the human form fascinating, and am looking to make more pictures of human interest. I love working with creative models who come to shoots with their own vision and direction. I prefer to let models direct themselves for the most part; I've discovered this helps them feel more comfortable and allows for development at their own pace. That said, I'm excited to bring my own ideas to fruition as well.

I've been out of the game for awhile, but I'm looking forward now to getting back into a groove and making some awesome images (2017). Right now I'm looking to build my portfolio back up and work with new and experienced talent alike. This is not a full time job for me, so please bear with me as I attend to those other duties first (and my wife and I are working on buying a home and starting a family). Will discuss compensation and direction ahead of any shoot.


Former commercial clients have included: ABC-KMIZ News, NBC-KOMU News, Polaris Images, Newsweek Magazine, the FBI, the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Universities of Minnesota and Missouri.
