At the young age of 13 years old I was lucky to have a high school teacher take me under his wing and teach me some darkroom techniques and shoot with a Pentax K1000. I instantly became fascinated with all things photography and attended the Black & White Photography program at Algonquin College where I learned how to use various camera formats (2 1/4, 4x5 and 35mm cameras). More recently I have taken an Advanced Digital Photography course at the Emily Carr Design Institute of Art and have self-published a couple of my own books. I have been working full-time for a community newspaper over 8 years selling advertising and occasionally have my photographs published in the newspaper.

I currently want to expand my portfolio and gain some studio and lighting experience. I would like to collaborate with a couple of people on a fashion/makeup photo shoot in exchange for photographs. I'm thinking of starting out with portraits which would include bright and visually interesting makeup.
