About Me

I have been a photographer since I was a little boy, it has always held a magic for me.

More recently I have been lucky enough to call it my job, as well as my passion. I love the ability it gives me to see the world as it really is, and to show people how amazing and beautiful they are. I love the fact that photography opens doors to worlds I wouldn't otherwise get to visit, and to meet people I would never meet without my camera.

Using my company Way Ahead Photography, I work in commercial photography for magazines (I am a feature writer/photographer and motoring journalist for a local lifestyle magazine) and I also do a lot of portraiture and wedding photography to pay the bills. I also work in fashion photography, and I utterly love photographing live music events!

I also have experience as an art model (see my model profile Mystery8s) so I have an understanding of both sides of the cameras, which I think helps me to understand things from the model's perspective as well as photographer.
