I am a lawyer by day, and an Ashtanga yoga fanatic and photographer by the odd night I can get free.

I am absorbed by the way light can be used to define the body, in excercise and in repose. I like to think that knowing the difficulty and strain of these poses helps me to depict them in photography. Too much yoga photography is aimed at depicting how the pose is done. I want to convey what it feels like, including the joy and stability of it.

As I have progressed with studio lighting skills (I have my own strobes for location shoots and access to a professional studio space) I have become more interested in portraiture, and am looking for models to discover this art with me.
