I'm Anna.

I'm a student artist and portrait photographer. I shoot digitally with a Nikon and Nikon lenses (a Canon when shooting with film). My style is erratic. Standardly, I tend to follow the approach of documentary-style photography, loosely defined as "photo-journalistic," but only when the mood calls for it--usually when documenting an event. Most of my portraits have adopted a commercial feel, but I'd like to branch out to something a little more editorial. Among my influences are Annie Leibovitz, Ishak Hamzah, Brigitte Fässler, and Andy Warhol. I would love to attempt a body of work that speaks more deeply of their impact on my progressive style.

My approach: Fun! I'm all about trying new ideas (and there are plenty floating around in my head). What's more, when I have a vision, I'm not expecting my model to find my shot for me, so essentially I'm not one to nitpick, order, or intimidate. The most important thing is that everyone feel comfortable and reach a harmony in finding the perfect shot.
