About the Designer

Australian designer Hayley Kathryn has been involved fashion and design from a very young age. Starting at the age of 9 with modelling in local runway shows, she has always had a passion for her own creations and unique taste and started making her own clothes out of anything she could find at just 13 years old. Hayley then moved on to running and co-ordinating her own fashion shows ten years later. Now with extensive experience in graphic design as well as fashion design Hayley’s now designs her own line swimwear, which is rapidly expanding into complete luxurious resort wear collection.

Inspired by sizzling Brazilian summers, Cebiche’s sassy and flirtatious swimwear has hit Australian shores with a boom. Always feeling there were very few swimsuits available that combined design, quality and style in a way that she considered suitable for her and those around her who shared a similar taste for high quality swimwear design. This challenge, coupled with her intense entrepreneurial spirit, were the vision for Cebiche Swimwear.

Hayley Kathryn spent the last 6 years working alongside a Brazilian team to create her designer label of high end range of swimwear targeting an exclusive niche market which she launched in late 2009.  As a former swimwear model Hayley recognized the difficulty in finding the perfect swimsuit for one’s body and decided something needed to be done without resorting to separates. Cebiche’s cuts have been designed with every woman’s unique shape in mind to leave you feeling confident, comfortable and yet still sexy in the latest up to date styles, cuts and fabrics.

Hayley envisioned a woman who is not afraid to show her body and proud to embrace her individual sexuality.  RIO CARNIVAL - Collection 2010/11: Designed while sitting on the beach in Rio, it consists of highly accessorised two-piece combinations using bright colours and bold prints to compliment you in and out of the water. Each style has been named after someone important in her life who has left a lasting impression.  These styles have a deeper meaning than ‘just a bikini’, each design holds a story and these stories have come from incredible experiences and cultures. FRUIT OF THE SEA - Collection 2012: When designing this collection, most of Hayley’s days were spent on the back of a yacht in the crystal clear bays of Rottnest island. With brilliant white beaches and turquoise waters, inspiration was easily found with the exquisite and vibrant colours below.


The luxurious 2013 Collection - CARNIVAL COLLECTION came to Hayley while honeymooning on a saucy salsa cruise through the islands off Brazil.

The company has now grown to service many prestigious boutiques, high end surf shops, specialty stores, and online retailers. Incorporating Hayley’s instinctive knowledge of the feminine form and attention to detail, she has provided pool-side fashionista with original designs with her personal touch and a super flattering, flawless fit. Hayley’s ability to identify patterns of an ever changing market’s needs, along with her innate ability to satisfy those needs in a creative and innovative way, are the distinctive trademark of her swimsuit collection.
