My name is Jared, I'm 20 and self taught. I like taking pictures.

Photography and performing are my two great passions. Photography is art, my personal work allows me to express my thoughts, feelings and emotions.

My photography clients include NZ band Poppy Dust, singer/songwriter Tia, Energy Theatre, Porirua Little Theatre, Speakeasy Theatre, and The Beatgirls as well as many performers.

As a performer I had many musical theatre roles as a child including Louis in The King and I, Gavroche in Les Miserable in four different productions around the lower north island and John Darling in Peter Pan. I made my first professional appearance at the age of 12 in the NBR New Zealand Opera Company's production of Giacomo Puccini's 'Tosca', and then George Bizet's 'Carmen' the following year. I have since performed in many Musicals including Cats, Bat Boy: The Musical, the 2009 NZ Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express, Miss Saigon, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret and Rent. I have done extra work in the film Second Hand Wedding, and TV series Time Hackers. I had a supporting role in an episode of TV2's children's drama Freaky, and choreographed Toi La Who?, a short film directed by Sally Tran. I recently was filmed dancing the new advanced boys jazz combination for the NZAMD syllabus.
