My name is Doug Betzold and I am a photographer in Seattle. I started my career in 1999 shooting nature and wildlife, for the Windermere Real Estate Company’s annual calendars and other clients. With the economic downturn I went back to school and recently finished a BFA in Commercial Photography.

During my time in attendance at school I discovered the Nvidia 3D system and started creating 3D images to put myself into a photographic niche for the future. Since then Nvidia has awarded my work a number of times, as well, 3Dee Central/Spatial View are using my images in sample packs for their devices.

Most recently, I have been nominated 1 of 6 finalists for the ‘3D Photographer of the Year’ by Sony and the World Photography Organization to be announced in April at the WPO gala event in London. (Link below)
