About Me

KALA is a Dubai based label, owned by Ms Sasikala, launched on November 1st 2011. Ms Sasikala graduated from Raffles Design Institute Singapore with a degree in Fashion Design in 2009. She worked with one of the most successful designers in Dubai ‘Meher & Riddhima’ as Design Assistant.

“Fashion is art, where the needle is the brush and the fabric is the canvas”. Playing with the fabric, constructing the garment or even adding an appliqué is done with patience and done with passion.
