Credit Notes

Jessica Elder (stage name) has been an actress in Hollywood for approximately 7 years. She is the offspring of an artist/poet mother and a musician/film producer father, and although she moved around a lot as a child, and lived with different relatives, she was born in, spent most of her childhood (Long Beach) and all of her adolescence (San Fernando Valley and Hollywood) in Los Angeles, CA. After first pursuing a career in make-up artistry, (due to a childhood love of horror films and dream of becoming the next Dick Smith, you know, The Exorcist) she (of course) decided she wanted to act. After a short time bouncing around acting schools and community colleges in Los Angeles, she settled on Alan Feinstein's school in Sherman Oaks where she has studied for over 5 years. Right away she landed a small role in the popular horror film "Cabin Fever" (and even got to do some of the make-up and blood effects too!) Other popular films she has worked on over the years include Jay Lee's award winning horror flick, "The Slaughter" and Anna Biller's award winning cult film, "Viva". Her current films include Scott Speigal's "Spring Break '83" (she play's the ghoul "Bloody Mary") and Joseph's Guzman's "Run Bitch Run!" which swept up awards at horror festivals all around America and the world and was included in the Cannes Festival in France last year. She was in Guzman's short "Inflicted" and will also play Beverly, Butch’s girlfriend, in Guzman's next film "Nude Nuns With Big Guns".(LOS ANGELES, May 26, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB:CMGR - News) ("Camelot") announced today that DarKnight Picture's ("DKP") release of Freak Show Entertainment's Nude Nuns with Big Guns won over international audiences at the Marche du Film in Cannes, France, which took place from May 12-21, 2010. With interest soaring, Vice President of Sales Jeffrey Giles closed deals to release the film in Australia, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland. Deals are still being negotiated for United States, France, UK, Japan, Eastern Europe, and CIS.) Yes, she enjoys horror and cult and comedy but she has acted in her share of drama as well. She has been lucky to pick up small bit roles in some really exciting new films like Mike Mills' Beginners with Ewan Mcgregor and Melanie Laurent, and Pinchas Perry's Chicago 8 (Based on actual court transcripts of 8 anti-war protesters on trial for conspiring to cause riots at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.) Her stage credits include the Lorca tragedy "The House of Bernarda Alba" in which she portrayed the complex middle sister Martirio. In addition to her acting training, she has also taken improv classes, performing comedy improv shows at the LA Connection Theater in Sherman Oaks. On top of all, that she is an accomplished visual artist specializing in portraits, Pop Art style as well as Abstract and Realism. When she gets bored she listens to folk rock from the 60's and 70's and plays the Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer. She says her art feeds into her acting and " It's important to develop yourself in as many art forms as you can as an actor. My art is my religion and my life is my acting You cant be an actor without living your life. I'll always act."
