I am a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).

Some basic thoughts when it comes to shoots...

-[Communication]-----
Be upfront with me with the type of communication that works best for you. Don't send me a PM on MM saying you are interested in a casting and then not log in for the next 2 months because, "You don't check MM that often". If you'd prefer an e-mail or phone call, reply with that information.

-[Flakiness]-----
We're all human. I get it. We've all developed cold feet at the last minute or something "better" came up. That's totally understandable.
Ideally? Come to the shoot prepared, on time and ready to go.
Worst case scenario? Don't show up and don't even call.
I'm big on honesty. So, if you are hung over and not going to be able to do a session, let me know ASAP. But, if you don't even call it's costing me time and money and that's unacceptable.

-[Pay]-----
I've been doing photography long enough.. I don't take jobs for "experience". If I'm not being paid for a session, I want photos that I'll be able to use as a portfolio booster.

-[Escorts]-----
I don't mind escorts for sessions, but I prefer to know upfront. There's a good chance I'll ask the escort for help holding a reflector or something. I may even ask your escort to jump in front of the camera too.
I do prefer the escort not to be a distraction for the shoot. Easily jealous boyfriends... Friends who just don't want to be there and keep asking, "Are you going to be done soon".... Yeah, you can leave those kind of people at home.
If you are under 18, I require that you bring an adult along for the shoot.

Almost all of my sessions will appear on my website or blog for my business. I have people's grandmother's visiting my site. I don't shoot any material that would make anyone uncomfortable to look at.
Along the same vein, I prefer to photograph "All American" people. Head to toe tattoos, scary piercings, and purple mohawks just don't represent the image I'm looking for, so I tend to shy away from that.

-[Shooting Style]-----
There are a small percentage (okay, large percentage) of photographers out there that are a little bit creepy. I'm not that photographer. I like to have fun on a shoot and make people feel at ease.
