When you view the photography of Guy Vaught, you are experiencing a “Life with Style” through the lens of his camera. A rich set of experiences growing up in the Southern California surf & skate culture of the mid-80's and early 90's, combined with years in the sports of surfing, skim boarding, and body surfing shaped his love for the ocean.

Traveling experiences to the Hawaiian Islands and Oahu especially as a child changed his life dramatically. His time in Hawaii during those years was well spent; in making many friends there, Guy was able to learn about the many diverse cultures, the history, and the geographical layout of Hawaii. It was also the time in his life when he first picked up his father's 35mm camera and the fire was lit. Guy fell in love with photography on these trips, and developed his skill back home in Southern California, where his talent for photography became evident.

As a young man passionate about the arts, Guy gained more experience in other fields such as music and multimedia. While attending Saddleback College, he had the privilege of working for Virgin Records. It was during this time he would meet and work for Eric Ferris, V.P. of Marketing and Artist Development. Under Ferris tutelage, Guy would work with bands and artists including Janet Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Spice Girls, Ben Harper, Blur and Smashing Pumpkins. Ferris work ethic and leadership skills inspired Guy and influenced him to take on a new career opportunity with Bluetorch Media Group. Featuring an action sports show on Fox Sports, over five action sports magazines, and the first of its kind interactive internet action sports page, Bluetorch was part of the new frontier for action sports. During his years with Bluetorch, Guy gained experience in the competitive field of surf photography, and was also a segment producer.

Today, Guy’s photography has earned accolades and awards, and his photography has taken him to places people dream to go. His work over the past ten years is best known for being spontaneous and in the moment, never scripted or over-planned. He loves to take people into his world even if it’s just for a few hours. When they come out of his world, the images are so much more than they ever imagined. It's that satisfaction that keeps Guy pushing forward - seeing the end result of his vision and the reaction it creates in clients when they see life through his eyes…..thus creating “Life with Style” Aloha!
