I'm a graphic designer by trade, and when I had the opportunity to incorporate some original model photography in my work, both clients and models were very happy with the results.

I shoot digital, so the results can be immediately viewed on my laptop, and a thumb drive or an upload-to-the-cloud of a day's work can be provided to the model on-the-spot. Any photos requiring post-production (cropping, color adjustment, Photoshoppery) will be e-mailed later.

When shooting indoors, I like to experiment with lighting to get a shot just right, and I am particularly interested in outdoor location shoots--day or night--as I'm good at making effective, dramatic use of available light (and I know a lot of cool locations)!

I'm very respectful (yet fun to work with!) and I don't like taking anyone outside their comfort zone.  It's up to the model whether they want their session to be sassy, saucy, sexy, silly, surreal, or senior-portrait serious.  I am proud to help a model achieve her own vision of herself, or to bring out a side of her she might not have been aware of.  Concept, costume, and location can be your ideas, my ideas, or a combination of the two; it's up to you.

I'm happy to travel; I consider my territory to be within a 100-mile radius of St. Louis, more or less.  A day of driving and photography is the ideal day!
