Hey everyone,
Ok, I don’t know if I will get in trouble for this but, the gatekeepers wouldn’t let me in on Model Mayhem. A friend of mine told me about half a year ago but I’ve never had a chance to get it. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong so I hope writing this preamble is not one of my crimes.

But regardless, I’ll reintroduce myself, my name is Jibola, I'm 29, and I’m a concept artist. For the past year I’ve been doing a lot of special effects stuff and 3d and Jeez I’m loving it. Not making a lot of mone y but I love what I do.

I’ve worked for some cool studios in toronto, big studios, Mr X and I cant switch the experiece for anything… its been a gas! Although my first love is drawing and I try to do that more and more on the subway, but once I’m home… I’m back on my PC … modeling away!
I think one of the reasons I want to join ModelMayhem is to meet other artists, see what other artists are doing. And you have tonnes of great pictures on the site as well that I can get ideas from, one of my weaknesses is lighting and color combos and the photograhphs here give awesome direction to this.

My style is a bit cartoony but realistic textures and I tend to exaggerate the proportions a lot. I tend to use a lot of pencil and ink, I'll post more art as I go along - one of my goals on this site.

I also want people to see what I’ve done so hence a link to my site and my blog is posted at the end of this document . Yeah, if you like my stuff feel free to follow me on blogger and drop me a comment.


My background is Nigeria- yes Nigeria, and no no its not a scam and I dont have an exploding underwear and no I dont play soccer(LOL). I came to canada about 6 yrs ago. I think my goal in the short term is to be the best in my field and I think I’ll go from there. Yeah, thanks for reading my profile.
