My profile name Sordesco is Latin and means “to become dirty.”

Drawing and painting are my main passions with an interest in creating figurative work in chiaroscuro using charcoal and graphite through drawing and other media. I usually end up very dirty when creating any work, with charcoal or paint staining my hands and clothing. Hence, sordesco.

My interest in photography developed recently and I began taking hobby photos over 3 years ago. I have since become more serious and have found that digital photography gives me the freedom to create, capture and enhance that beautiful play of light and dark in an instant and without becoming dirty to achieve the final product.

Although my own profile is new this site, my work has been featured here for the past 2 years within the portfolio of model AJ Bray. I am currently working with Chloe Magazine as a field photographer and as an Audio/Visual Tech and fashion photographer for the magazine’s Dare to Change the World Fashion Showcase .

My goal in joining this site is to increase my access to new models in effort to enhance my portfolio. I would like to make contact with professional photographers to learn more about technique in digital photography and digital photo enhancement to create fine art photos. I would also like to gain more exposure to the fashion environment to increase my skills.
