I like to focus my photography work on my 3 major subjects: music, travelling and people. Mostly, I aim to capture other senses to my photographs, apart from the visual aesthetics. It is important for me to freeze moments that allow the viewer to take part and acknowledge the preceding and following moments without actually experiencing them. I often say that my images contain sounds, as it is my intention to take the viewer to a familiar musical landscape through the images alone.
I like to refer to photography as a way of experiencing, rather than just a medium. Above all, I truly believe photography has an important role in society, so I am keen on anthropological studies as well.
I have written about erotic art in photography, the social impact of photography and the relationship between the photographer and the photographed people.
I follow no rules. I allow my practice to be a reflection of my nomad lifestyle.
