A jogging photo of me appeared in the Sept. 2009 issue of the national publication for women, More Magazine. I'm a fit, 5 ft. 9 in., extremely youthful, outgoing, active 59-year-old Atlanta woman, with fair skin and white hair. Much to my surprise during my first ever photo shoot, the NYC photographer (he has photographed for Nike, the hair/makeup artist, and the fashion stylist long-time tour all urged me to try out for lifestyle modeling. The More Magazine team at the shoot said I have "a very distinct look and bone structure" and "excellent teeth, eyes, skin, and energy." I couldn't believe it as the modeling field is not something that I ever considered could be in the cards for me. Would sure like to give it a shot. As ice hockey great Wayne Gretsky once said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

By profession, I am a part-time English as a Foreign Language teacher and a trained travel agent/tour guide ("The Trip Chicks"), but I would consider it a blessing to break into this field for some extra income. On a personal note, over the years I have traveled to 77 countries, and international travel is my passion. I have had the opportunity to learn to speak five other languages, and have completed 25+ (slow) marathons, etc. I also am a published travel writer, mostly in the travel humor writing genre. I think my best points are my long legs, my smile, my eyes, my youthful face, and my energetic, enthusiastic personality. Thanks so much for considering my application.
