Because I'm a lifestyle photographer, I play with natural light & refuse to over-process. I retouch with a light hand, but I won't make you something that you're not. The point of Photoshop is to look like you're NOT using it.

Specializing in portraiture, Left Coast also takes on the occasional concept project. Currently shooting a Dia de los Muertos fine-art photo book set to publish in October 2010. Our model list for this project is currently full, but there are always other concepts on the horizon.

Not looking for: "Boudoir", implied nude, or nude sessions of any kind.
Looking for: Experienced hair/makeup/fx artists with creative ideas looking to expand their portfolios, models that still have their wedding dress for Trash the Dress or creative bridal portrait sessions, alternative/fashion-minded couples for real or staged engagement sessions, & funky fresh ideas!

All sessions are in public, on-location venues. No private studio sessions. All participants in sessions are expected to be professional, sober, and in good health. Experience for models not necessary but preferred. Experience required for hair/makeup/fx artists.
