Hey, Guys! My name is, Casey Ritchie. I am a freelance makeup artist working in Louisville, Ky and surrounding area.
I've been involved in the makeup industry since birth! Seriously. I had an amazingly talented Aunt who was an awesome makeup artist...she taught me so much. As a child, I can remember helping her with pageants, models, and brides. I payed full attention to everything in the business at a very young age. It became an obsession early on.
As an adult, I have remained obsessed with makeup. I love the possibilities. I enjoy all styles of makeup design, but most of all, I love traveling into more creative aspects of makeup. I look forward to every open mind that sits in my chair.
My experience has included working with bridal parties, models for runway and photo shoots, prom, and special events. I have experience with multiple makeup lines, I mainly use theater makeup. I've worked for the cosmetic lines out of the department stores, and in salons. I now have a studio in my home, but I still do a lot of on location makeup.
I joined Model Mayhem after hearing so many clients rave over all the creatives they have encountered here. I look forward to doing this and networking in the process.
Most jobs I take on are definitely paid, but depending the situation, I will consider trade.
