The seeds of VaNessa's longtime interest in makeup were planted approximately 13 years ago while she was attending high school in her native NYC. She practiced on willing family members and friends and discovered the power of cosmetic transformation as she drew inspiration from celebrated makeup artists such as Kevyn Aucoin and Bobbi Brown. With the knowledge acquired in these experiences, VaNessa's innate sense of color theory and her ability to sculpt the face with makeup grew. After attending college in Los Angeles (B.A.) and a Master's program in NY (MSEd), VaNessa was ready to pursue her interest in makeup artistry on a professional level. Presently, VaNessa is a member of esteemed M.A.C. Pro (Makeup Art Cosmetics) and is available for makeup lessons, professional photo shoots, weddings, proms, engagement parties & shoots as well as other special occasions.
