Hey, I'm not very good at writing about myself. But here goes. Im a graphic designer in book publishing. Photography has been a hobby of mine for quite a few years. Mostly landscapes, and occasionally people. It used to be I'd only shoot people when they just happened to be in the frame of a landscape shot. So far, I've done 1 wedding for a friend as a favor. A friend of mine suggested that I should learn how to work with lights and models. I never thought I'd like lighting, but I do. I basically have no formal training outside of a mandatory 2 classes in college (before digital!). So, I'm beginning to learn lighting now and have practically no experience shooting models. I art direct shoots occasionally at work, and that's the only model experience I've had. So far, anyone I've shot has been a friend of mine. So, my goal is learning how to be more familiar with lighting and directing a model while I'm behind the camera. Right now, I don't have plans to be more than an enthusiast/hobbyist. But, we'll see if that changes with more experience.
