I am inspired by painting the model in oil. I have studied with models to direct my expressionistic style to convey a message of beauty and strength. Drawing portraits are equally exciting. I have studied both figure painting and portraiture for a number of years. I like to use both composition, color and values to capture an interesting an memorable painting. I look forward advancing my career in figure painting with the use of inspiring and different models.
I also have an interest in illustration which I hope one day to use in the electronic arts field. My primary focus is still the model and painting and drawing from a live model to capture the true essence of the person and real colors that make figure painting an exciting and rewarding experience.
