About Me

My Grandma used to always have a small disposable camera with her. She would whip it out of her hand bag in the blink of an eye, the sound of the wheel clicking as it spins and the un-mistakeable high pitch of the flash ready to fire. A few moments later you would be blind and she would have her shot, printing a dozen copies for everyone to have. She started to buy us our very own disposable cameras so that we would be able to capture the shots we wanted to have. Getting my first negatives back with the poorly printed pictures next to them was magic. I had no idea how this, what I then considered a toy, could turn a fluid moment of un-stoppable life into a frozen piece of time, creating a memory on paper. I was hooked. It wasn’t until after high school that I became serious about my images.  My graduation present from was my first DSLR.  I started taking basic photography classes at a community college and spent the next year living in a dark room.  Continuing my education I moved up into professional classes and advertising classes. Learning just about everything from film to digital, light to composition. The art of capturing the precise moment, not a second before or after. Showing emotion and a story behind each of my images. I have worked with top professional photographers, and continue to grow each day. I strive to create the perfect image using my knowledge of technical aspects, and my eye for art and composition that makes an image remarkable. Every day is a battle to go from good, to great.
