I am an oil painter. I paint in old master techniques. I paint classical, romantic and modern. I enjoy trying to capture something deeper about the person I paint, something beyond the skin. Something that moves you to feel when you look at it. I am hoping to find models with a unique and captivating look. A look from a different time, old world. I also hope to connect with other painters who paint figurative realism.
I teach oil painting classes in Portland, by the Burnside bridge, and may need models for a class from time to time also, besides a model to paint from on my own. I also teach portrait classes at Multnomah arts.
I find some of the posses very inspiring that the models on this site come up with. I'm looking for poses that capture a mood or tell a story. That must be around a 100 words eh?
