For over 8 years I've run a figure drawing session at the Art Students League of Denver. Most of my paintings feature people in one way of another. I've painted everything from Roller Derby collisions to Back Hoes and men digging ditches, but I always return to the figure. My paintings should be more than merely pretty, they should have at least a slight edge to them.

I'm always looking for models. Beautiful is good, but interesting is better. The best models are intelligent, and are physically expressive. Painting communicates emotions, so the best models express their emotions with the way they move more than the way they speak. Almost any emotion is worth capturing in paint.
