The genesis of my photography began with one of my younger siblings who at the time was only three years old. My brother Steve who had the energy of a thousand suns became my muse and the engine that enthralled me to fall in love with photography . Children I find to be the easiest to photograph. They are far more interesting. Less inhibited and so spontaneous.

I have also taken great interest in photographing nature. Plants and flowers are great subjects and do not tire as easily as mortals do. Animals are a delight to photograph too! I have enjoyed many fun and exciting moments capturing my four legged friends.

My work is inspired by so many artists. I have great admiration for the work of Steven Klein and Steven Meisel. Any Warhol, who happens to be my favorite artist, has influenced so much of my work. Herb Ritts is my favorite photographer and his images move me in such a deep and profound way. In his lifetime, he photographed many famous celebrities, among them her majesty Madonna. He also knew how to photograph the human form with such elegance and beauty. His style can bee seen today in so many other photographers. However, while many take ordinary pictures of naked torsos, Herb Ritts knew how to capture the human spirit. And you could see it shine like a beam of light in every single one of his subjects.


Graphic Art is equally important to me and I feel a deep and profound passion towards this genre. Over the years, I have achieved the ability to conceive so many ideas through the medium of digital graphic art. More impressive has been the reinvention that my subjects have taken with the help of modern techniques. My passion for photography has also taken me to new worlds. Central America is beautiful and Spain is breathtaking. Japan and Africa are the new worlds I hope to visit and photograph in the near future. I am proud of my work and I am always excited and looking forward with great anticipation at what my lens will capture next.

In regards to the genre of my photography, it depends mostly on what I wish to conceive visually and artistically. I have no problem with nudity as long as it is within the boundaries of good taste.
