My name is Malcolm and specialise in travel photography and portraiture/people photography. Through my business Spotlight on Asia, I specialise in photographic tours around the world, in which I take a small group of photographers. It is during these tours, and when running photographic workshops at home that I have a need to find models.

I’m very fortunate to be a valued member of Tamron Pro Team (Brand Ambassador) as well as an ambassador for Lexar memory, Haida filters and MeFoto tripods. These are the tools I use every day to achieve results in my work.

I enjoy photographing people, whether it be alone or with a tour group accompanying me on one of my trips. My goal is to eventually have a network of models in which I can call upon at the destinations I travel. I particularly like to scout for beautiful locations that complement the beauty of the person I am photographing. I also like to photograph people in traditional costume.

I decided to join Model Mayhem to pursue my passion in photographing people. I love to meet people, get to know them a little and then work together to create beautiful images. My goal is to work with some new and upcoming models to build their portfolios in a variety of genres, and at the same time develop my skills and creativity in this field of photography.

When I am not overseas doing photography or leading one of my photographic tours, I have much free time to pursue my new found photographic passion. I am therefore reasonably flexible to shoot at any time when I am not overseas.

I am really keen to start working with local models on both relatively simple shoots as well as more complicated shoots to a theme. I am currently looking for TF shoots, but this no doubt will depend on the nature of the project. I’m also intending to run a number of photographic workshops in 2018 and beyond, which will be paid shoots.
