I have 25 years experience in the film industry. Have a certificate in Cinematography at UCLA and so have been shooting creative stills and short films with my Canon 7D.

I am not on modelmayhem to pay models, but to develop my portfolio further, always trying to learn something new, forge new working relationships (people I call back for videos, films, larger shoots) and try out new ideas.

When I am interested on working on paid shoots I will likely defer to an agency, not modelmayhem, and if you respond that you are presently only working on paid shoots, then please send me your contact at that modeling agency along with your response.

Consider that photographers also should be paid - for their time, skillset, investment in cameras, lights and equipment, organizing hundreds of images, and then processing the selects. Be reasonable, folks, this is a portfolio building ground so if I am going to make the effort and investment, I expect to work with people who are interested in the fair exchange.

Let's mutually develop some new ideas and walk away with some solid new pictures that can benefit us. I love to shoot textural, sensual, visceral material that draws attention but ultimately makes the model look their very best.
