I been in photography a long time. I started with black and white film developing and printing it myself. I think the evolution of digital photography has been both good and bad for the craft. The good is that you aren't stuck with a single roll of 24 or 36 exposures when trying to get it right. It's also great you can see your pictures instantly. Plus the new software makes it almost impossible to take a bad picture. Unfortunately now it takes 200 or 300 pictures to get the same quality as 10 or 12 with film cameras. I know I used to be a lot more precise with my pictures. When I worked a basketball game I was much more careful to get the perfect photo. Now I just take as many as possible and hope I have a good one. Enough philosophy.

I specialize in sports and photojournalism but over the years I've shot my share of weddings and senior pictures. I'm up for any kind of work and I'm always trying to get better at what I do. I travel a lot in Missouri, Northeast Kansas and Southeast Nebraska. If you're in those areas let me know and we can set something up when I'm in the area.

I'm interested in all kinds of shoots both paid and TFP and can give you quotes by request. I'm up for crazy, edgy themes or concepts you want to try, or if you are willing to be a part of one, I may be willing to do a trade shoot. However I do ask that you are willing to pay if you want something like portofolio shots like buildings, headshots, family shoots, or senior portraits. I'll trade for something I can add to my portfolio.

I'm a one man band and I guarantee you aren't going to want me to do your makeup, hair, styling and wardrobe. If you have a wardrobe stylist, hair stylist, or MUA willing to work with us, I would be more than happy to work with them.
