Hi! I'm Gillian & I'm a qualified Makeup Artist; from day makeup to weddings & special occasion, to theatre & film, including casualty effects.

I have a Cert 2 in Makeup Services, a Diploma in Fashion, Theatre & Media Makeup & am ITEC accredited.

I first dabbled in theatrical makeup in the mid 90s, working on a variety of stage productions with casts from 7 to casts of up to 150 including choruslines; it was only a matter of time before it became more than just something I did for fun.

For the past 17 years I've been a photographer, though I only made it my day job about 5 years ago.... & I still love it just as passionately! But as a photographer, I know firsthand what makeup needs to be in order to stand up against in a studio or location shoot, the need for continuity & the necessity of contouring (especially in black & white photography).

My kit is geared towards sensitive skin where possible, though SPFX products aren't .
