Hello MM! I'm Portia and my passion is in Fashion Photography. My style usually leans toward tasteful, emotive, themed shots; however, that also depends on the model, theme and focus. I've only been doing this for about a year and a half so I'm not too experienced. Although, that being said, my photos are always decent and have potential. I strongly follow, "You don't have to be a pro to shoot like one."

Some things I want: I've been wanting to do more conceptual pictures and on area shots, like studio sets or the right indoor/ outdoor scenes. I love a variety in the people I shoot, whether it be what they bring to the table, their nationalities, preferences, etc; I love people and trying new things. I also cannot wait to collaborate. MUA, hair stylists, etc, if you think your work fits well with mine, lets talk asap. Lastly, I really try not to have typical fashion shots. I like to keep things traditional, but I also like to instill some sort of energy into a photo, making it fun, interesting, and meaningful.

Ways to get to my heart: COME WITH IDEAS. It helps to be work ready, even if it's a little. I always think of shots prior to the shoot, based on your ideas or not, but it really helps to come with thoughts.

If you know you're not the easiest person to work with, don't feel hesitant to let me know. I'm a sweetheart; I'll already be doing what I can to make you as comfortable as possible, so try to keep that in mind.
