Thanks for stopping by my page! My name is Kristen, I'm the head designer and founder of Mesela Studios. I've had a lifelong involvement with the arts, and I've found my outlet in designing feather embellished clothing and accessories for women. Ever since I was young, I've been inspired by the people and places around me to create art. I've never left my passion for design, and even now can almost always be found sketching ideas for new creations.

All of the work from Mesela Studios is either embellished with or made entirely of feathers. I first became interested in feather pieces when I was searching for feather tutus for my daughters and came up empty handed. Always the resourceful artist, I made my own, loved it, and a lifelong infatuation with feathers was born. There are few tastefully made feather pieces available for women, so the women's clothing line from Mesela Studios seeks to fill this void and to inject a little exoticism into the everyday woman's wardrobe.

To date, my work has been seen in Anchorage Alaska at The Mesela Premier Fashion Show, Midnight in Wonderland, in photoshoots around the world and also in Indianapolis Indiana where I was a featured designer in Midwest Fashion Week. Up next, I will be creating a brand new collection that I will be premiering in the spring of 2013 across the country.

Out of state shoots are occasionally accepted for well established photographers and/or stylists. However, there will be a deposit on the pieces requested for the retail value of each piece. Return shipping/insurance must also be covered by your company.
