I am interested in all types of shoots and in experimenting with different styles, locations and settings.

After several years of landscape and architecture photography, I started to explore model photography and I'm glad that I did. Working with models has renewed my interest in the art and has given me an appreciation for the possibilities that exist when I'm working with another artist.

Capturing beauty in any form is, of course, appealing. But the beauty I have found in the models with whom I have worked is dimensionally different. Landscapes and buildings can be beautiful but I strive to capture moments when personality, emotion or mood is expressed along with external beauty in a photograph.


[b]A Note About Compensation[/b]

I most often pay models for their time and talent. Mostly because I'm still relatively new to model photography and I want to shoot as often as I can.

If you want to work with me and you want to do it on a TF basis, I'm certainly willing to work with you - but we should discuss it first to ensure we have similar expectations.


[b]Working With Me[/b]

I'm happy to work with models of any experience level - provided that they are easygoing yet serious about the work we do. I believe in art as a collaborative process so I enjoy working with models as artists. If you're expecting to just show up and "go through the motions", I'm probably not the photographer for you.

You will ALWAYS be treated professionally and with respect. I'm an easy person to work with and to get along with.

I do not have an absolute rule about model escorts. However, I would much rather work without an escort present. If you feel the need to bring an escort, I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss it with you first.

I am happy to meet you sometime before we shoot for coffee in a public place so that you can get a sense of my character and my ideas for the shoot.

From time to time I'll have a project or want to try something new and I'll post casting calls - so be on the lookout if you'd like to work with me!

I work in Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Baltimore and eastern Pennsylvania and can reach any of them easily with a little notice.
