My name is Raquel, but I often go by the name of raradolly online. Previously you may have known me as yukiyubi, fenofeno, or deliciousmalice. However I've changed much in personality and priorities since then despite that my interests have not changed.

As far as art goes, I've been drawing most of my life and am now experimenting in digital painting. I'd like to expand and make myself better at composition and dynamics. I'd really love to be able to tell the stories I want to with my paintings. That being said, I am also a writer and published poet but for now I'm focusing on my art as a tool of expression for the stories I keep in my head.

I'm currently going to school for Graphic Design, but I've done freelance work now for around 8 years. I really love doing photoretouching, and I'm very good at it, but mainly I joined this site to find inspiration to help me paint, or references for certain poses I have in mind or colors of skin. (How lighting changes skin color will forever be a mystery that I constantly have to explore! lol)

I favor alternative themes in my art as I'm an alternative (you could also substitute that with totally freaky, weird, and unique) person myself. I also tend to have a futuristic and surreal sensibility as a general rule, although a lot of what I have finished currently doesn't reflect that.

I've even done some modeling and photography myself.

If you want to commission something, we can talk. I'll only take certain projects, and keep in mind that paintings can take over 50 hours (or several weeks to a month) to complete. I can also do tattoo art (including Japanese kanji), which is what I have the most experience in aside from graphic design.
