John is an artist.

You can tell that by the fact he never shaves and is generally scruffy, after all, isn’t that the sign of a true artist?
A child of the sixties, he is old enough to say he was there, and cool enough to say he doesn’t remember it.

His love of photography developed quite late in life as a substitute for the adrenaline sports he was forced to abandon when he discovered that age equates to longer and longer recovery times from the inevitable injuries.
Whilst recuperating he would often point a cheap digital camera at his friends injuring themselves with no thought other than to catch the “moment”

But people told him he had a good “eye”, and the camera gradually replaced the mountain bike as his favorite toy, his new ride, a ride he never intends to get off.

In the intervening years he has explored many of the mediums involved in the photographic world and is not afraid of experimentation, switching effortlessly between small, medium and large formats.

He also spend a lot of time in a haze of chemicals, processing his work.

Currently looking for models to build a portfolio, at present I can't pay, but am happy to provide you with copies of all shots taken during our session.
