“Out of the box
Since an early age, humanity has been one of my passions. I have experienced it through three different angles, religion, history and art. Painting and drawing have always been a part of my life. I’ve traveled around the world and experienced different cultures, through their foods religions, languages and other expression in general. What I’ve found is that humans from around the world seem to live in a box built by their culture and view of the world. Being modern doesn’t shield us from near sightedness and tribal behaviors. Due to our abuse of technology we have found more ways to shield ourselves from the differences in the human experience, as opposed to opening ourselves to it. Asia and the Middle East have opened my eyes into the cultural and into the geo politics of our history. Instead of looking & listening to their culture. We tried to change it & make it into our own image; this is where we went wrong. We have to embrace our differences so we can survive these millennia. We have to understand that diversity is the force behind survival and beauty. The paranoia has to stop. Tribalism gives us a fake sense of security. The real security is in understanding and accepting each other. I love to use oil for its vibrancy of colors. In my artwork I like to invite people to the beauty of my colors and the sensuality of my symbols to get out of the box and explore our world. There is a world of innate beauty starting at the foot of our bed extending to the other side of the world and the universe. Humanity and the world is beautiful Verified Credits (0)Worked with Francois Beausoleil? Share your experience and become verified! Add CreditsCredit Notes
