the common question I get is "how did you get into photography?' here is the story:

Once upon a time I was a club promoter for a suburb based promotions company. Inviting people out to have a good time and making sure they did just that was alot of fun. This is what sparked the interest ... being able to capture people in the act of having a great time or what I like to call, a blasty.

So I invested in a camera and started shooting away at weekly nightlife events. I quickly developed this urge to take my photography to the next level, to do this I reached out to 'Chicago's Favorite Photo Studio' and in my opinion the best in Chicago, Alex Goykhman of (www.goykphoto.com).

Alex gave me the opportunity to assist and shoot with a variety of photographic works in his downtown studio, on location, and in nightclubs.

Working with goykphoto definitely took my photography to a new height! Big thank you goes out to Alex for being my mentor and hopefully considering myself as a protege (=

I now am in the process of establishing myself 'joZephoto' as a sought after photographic talent
