My name is John Dykeman and I am a portrait and headshot photographer based in Fairfield County, CT.
My experience stems from several years of theater and stage lighting as well as live camera operation for concert and corporate video productions from concept to final product.
I have studied in depth the history of fashion and fashion photography as it offers,in my opinion, such a broad spectrum of creative options to draw from.
I have worked with a variety of subjects and would like to continue to work with some MM models to advance my learning, challenge my creativity and create some great images. I am more interested in a collaborative effort to draw on the ideas of myself, the model and an MUA to create something we can all be happy with rather than let my ego drive the bus. I like the idea of bringing a concept to life through the photographic medium.
I have a fully equipped studio in my home or location is an option as well .
