Born and raised in NYC, (1971), Kristoff Capa has been documenting the world around him for the past twenty plus years. He studied photography and sculpture at the School of Visual Arts and the International Center of Photography. His work in photography has focused on portraiture and he is interested in both spontaneity and artifice, a snapshot that both gives an intimate sense of who a person is and points out the performative aspects at play.
