I started off as any other little boy, playing with crayons and Tonka trucks. As my life progressed, I discovered how much more I loved the art world. I instantly fell in love with the creativity and the potential fun I could have with my own talents.

When I started dabbling in photography, my ex-girlfriend was my inspiration. In my eyes her makeup was always flawless. However, when I developed the pictures she looked washed out and pale. I went searching for the solution. Where did I find it? In a drag queen who taught me how to make the colors darker and to have a heavier hand with my makeup application. Oh the things you can learn from drag queens! It had worked; my photographs turned out perfect and were my minds eye in print. As I became more comfortable with my makeup techniques, my mom made the suggestion to incorporate a pop of color from the background, or something the model was wearing to make it even more creative and pulled together. Long story short, all three of these people are the original inspirations to my makeup career.

All in all, I love what I do and every makeup application is not only a reflection of the beauty of the person who is wearing it, but also a reflection of who I have grown to become as a makeup artist. I have never found a face that I could not turn into a work of art. Every new face is a blank canvas and I love the challenge of being able to bring out the beauty that is waiting there for the rest of the world to see. Whether it is subtle makeup for a wedding or wild artistic makeup for a night out on the town, I have a passion for my job and I want to continually be inspired by every face I meet.
Lastly, I want to thank God, my parents, family and friends for being the inspiration for the work that I do on a daily basis. Will YOU become my next inspiration?
