Welcome, my name is Gardian and at present I reside in the Thompson-Okanagan area. I have had an interest in photography since age 18. After becoming involved in modeling, I completed a Photographic Arts Certification from Selkirk College in Castlegar. More recently, I decided that the most challenging subject matter would be to shoot nudes in outdoor landscapes because it demanded not only talent but superior social and communication skills. Since I predominantly work with male models I also try to reflect a positive male image by staying fit, strong and healthy and dedicating a respective amount of time in the gym. My present goal is to expand my portfolio, assemble a photo exhibition and publish my first book. I have some galleries interested in my work, provided I can produce more of it. Despite my preference to work with males, I would like to start spending more time working with female models. For the most part, I use locations in and around the Kamloops area but may expand to include Vancouver. Working with me is enjoyable, different and exciting since you are always battling the outdoor elements, and dealing with whatever nature decides to respond with, including fog, rain, insects and animals. It may include working with natural light or portable flashes and props. At the moment all my images are medium or 35mm slides so some knowledge of photography is an asset. My models are also welcome to share their ideas since I am very open-minded and appreciate feedback. Work is in exchange for select prints or scanned images.
