Overview:
I find that the best photos come from a collaboration of creative minds. I strive for a quality end product and choose to work with like-minded people who share that same goal. Let’s get the ideas on the table, pick the best, and make it happen. The “Wow Factor!" rarely happens by chance. The fun of photography is in the doing.

About My Work:
My current focus is on model photography, both studio and on location. I find it to be the most challenging type of photography. Location, lighting, camera angle, depth of field, make up, hair style, facial expression, and body language can all change a photo very quickly. I prefer photos that tell a story with drama, surprise, or humor.

Studio Equipment:
I own a complete portable studio
Backdrops: White, Black, Chromakey Green

Compensation:
We all like to get paid.
If I am getting paid; you will get paid.
If you are getting paid; I should get paid.
If it is an artistic project, time for CD is a fair exchange. After the shoot, I will provide all photos to you on a USB stick. Several weeks later when the edits are complete, you can return to have them added to the USB stick. I will also provide prints to you at cost. A copyright release is provided so that you can have them printed wherever you prefer.
If income is generated in the future, I will share it with you, if I still have contact information.

Use of Photos:
I post to Flickr and Model Mayhem. A model release is preferred. I always respect your wishes, practice discretion when it is needed, and will remove photos if requested.

Photo Shoots:
A meeting prior to a shoot will always result in better photos. It is a chance to get to know each other, discuss location, wardrobe, and to decide the style and tone of the upcoming shoot.

During a shoot, my wife often acts as my assistant. You are always welcome to bring a friend or family member. Typical duration is 2.5 to 3 hours. Editing and final photos will follow about two weeks later.

People that are creative with their look, tattoos, beards, piercings, etc. I like an edge to my photos.

Nature shots in local waterfalls. Yes, there are many nice waterfalls in the area!

People with unique hobbies for B&W photos.
Women with vintage clothing and who wear it well.
