Seeking inspiration from the environment around her, Sunghee filters her experiences through a unique point of view to design thoughtful clothing for the progressive girl. She takes an active role in each step of the design process allowing her to fully understand a garment creatively and constructively before it hits the racks.

Based in Brooklyn, N.Y., Sunghee launched her fashion career at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied Fashion Design with a specialization in Knitwear and Art. Interlacing her studies with internships at Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan, J Mendel, Jill Stuart and Peter Som, Sunghee diligently developed her sense of design and style. Upon graduating, Sunghee immediately and without hesitation set out to create her first collection. In just two seasons, label Sunghee Bang has grown exponentially. With glowing reviews from fashion editors and publications, distribution by department stores and boutiques nationwide, and a successful knitwear accessories line, Sunghee only looks forward.
